Lovely little Lucy was languidly lollygagging through the forest on her way to school one day and heard the faint sound of music. While normally she is very responsible when it comes to getting to school on time…
(have to say this for any kids that might be visiting. Who really wants to go to school when you could be sneaking off into the woods after delicate sounds of delightful music?)
… Lucy couldn’t help but follow the music off into the woods. Eventually her ears led her to a clearing where she saw a tiny little cottage, its door ajar. Taking this as a sign of welcome Lucy peered inside to catch a glimpse of who was playing such a tantalizing tune.
Much to her dismay the door was abruptly slammed shut knocking her back on her heals, and a gruff voice shouted, “gnome-bodies home!”
I guess not all open doors are a sign of welcome.
But in your new “gnome-bodies home” cottage you can set the rules of your renters. No crotchety old gnomes thank you very much. 🙂
With nice attention to detail this little miniature will make a lovely addition to your fairy garden.
